“All the More Reason”

3/19/22
Written by: Victor P.

“All the More Reason”

Nothing takes You by surprise,
Nothing escapes Your notice, God,
So, then, may our prayers rise
And may we wait upon You, Lord.

All the more reason to praise You
And every reason to glorify You,
No reason for not worshiping You,
No excuse for not obeying You.

There was never anyone like You
And there never will be, Holy One.
No one can do what You can do
And only You’re Father, Spirit, Son.

All the more reason to trust You
And every reason to believe You,
No reason for not loving You,
No excuse for not serving You.

Maybe we just can’t fit it in our heads,
We can’t grasp it fully even if we try
But it is true and can’t be otherwise
For what You said is what You meant.

Holy Lord, You loved the world so much
That You gave Your only begotten Son
So whoever believes on Him won’t perish
But will truly have life everlasting, amen.

No point in trying to hide anything from You
Since You already know the worst about us
And You still love us, You died for us, Jesus,
Your love is amazing and divine, it is true.

God, You call all sinners to repentance,
You call all to surrender unconditionally,
You call all to Yourself, You love all,
You are love, You are perfect, Lord!

There is only one You, God,
Every counterfeit is useless,
All paltry idols are worthless,
None compare to You, Lord.

O Jesus, to see You die for the unjust,
You, most innocent, for the guilty,
It shows You are loving and holy,
Worthy of glory, love, obedience, trust.

Heavenly Father, You first loved us,
And while we were yet all lost sinners
You suffered and died for us, Jesus;
Without You we’d all perish in our sins.

May we keep our hearts opened to You,
Help us, Spirit, to do what You want us to,
And may we not take for granted
Everything You’ve given us, Lord.

Sunday Praise (85) 4/19/20

Sunday Praise (85) 4/19/20. by me.

God, we will not forget
All the good You’ve done
And we shall not regret
Giving our lives to You.

The celebration continues,
We rejoice in Your victory
Over sin, Hell, and the grave,
Over all Your enemies, King.

Hallelujah, we sing to You
Who is worth more than all,
Who is the greatest treasure,
Our gain, our life, our Creator.

Christ has risen from the grave,
Death could not keep Him there,
He overcame it, Deathless Conqueror,
Sovereign over all, King of kings forever.

Above all created things
You reign supreme, God.
None can oppose You
And be victorious against You.

Our Lord was crucified,
Bled and died for us sinners,
What a precious sacrifice,
We are all unworthy of it, Lord.

All creation sings
Praises to You, Lord,
For You have risen
From the dead, Jesus.

If we shall keep quiet
The stones will cry out
For so great is the truth:
Christ is risen indeed.

Lord, You hear us
When we cry out,
We trust in You,
You will answer.

We thank You, Father,
For Your great mercy,
For salvation and grace,
For Your love and holiness.

Rich and poor will rejoice
That You are their Savior.
They will proclaim Your name
Among the nations, Lord.

You arise with strength,
The people praise You
For Your great love,
Your holiness and justice.

We trust in You, Lord,
You are our Savior.
Our salvation comes
From You, Jesus Christ.

One day all will bow
And confess You’re Lord
To the glory of God,
Oh, what a glorious day.

You are our Shepherd,
We shall not lack things
Good and necessary,
You are our Provider.

What shall we fear?
God, You are with us
Always and everywhere,
And we are never alone.

The Earth is Yours
And that is in it,
The work of Your hands
Declares Your praise, God.

You’re the King of glory,
You’re strong and mighty,
The Lord of all creation,
King of all the nations.

We lift up our souls
To You who made them
In praise and adoration,
In reverence and honor.

Show us Your ways
In which we should walk,
Guide our every step
By Your Holy Spirit.

We trust in Your mercy,
We know You are good,
You are wonderful, God,
More than anyone anywhere.

We will not perish
With the unbelieving,
We are the redeemed,
We are the ransomed.

You are our light
And our salvation.
Whom shall we fear?
You’re here with us.

We will seek Your face,
To do what You command
Out of love for You, Lord,
Obedience to You, Abba.

We give You glory,
God, You are worthy,
It is Your due, Master,
You alone deserve it.

You have heard our cries
In the darkest of nights,
You shone Your great light
And delivered us from evil.

We declare Your name
In the midst of nations,
You alone are worthy
Of all the glory, Lord.

We enter Your presence
With thanksgiving, Abba.
You are loving, faithful,
Yes, You are God alone.

You have restored us
So many times, Lord.
In Your house, Savior,
We will all praise You.

The living will praise You
For Your great mercy,
They lift up Your name
Above all others, God.

Origami 2020: Week 1, Week 2.

Origami 2020: Week 1, Week 2.

Note: I will be making origami at least 1 thing per week, which means at least 52 this year. If I make more than one during the week, I’ll post it by itself, not as part of my Origami 2020 post. I will try to keep track of every origami I’ve made already so I won’t make it again and post it as one of the weekly origami, for the sake of learning to make a new one each week.
So, without delay, here’s the origami fir week 1 and week 2, since I didn’t post anything for it last week, and since the idea to actually do this didn’t come until like the end of the past week and I decided to start doing it and not procrastinate.
Enjoy. Share your own version of what you see. I can share the link where I found how to make origami if you’re interested.

Week 1 (12/29/19 – 1/4/20):

Sunday Praise (68) 12/22/19

Sunday Praise (68) 12/22/19. by me.

The celebration continues,
We remember the birth of Christ
On Christmas He was born for us,
A King, a Savior for all humankind.

What a wonderful day
When the Savior was born,
In the town of Bethlehem
In a manger, Son of Mary.

God Incarnate, the Word made flesh,
An event like no other in history,
Christ came to save the lost,
Born to die for sinners, to rise again.

What a Child He was, few knew,
The angels sang “glory to God,”
Wise men and shepherds came
To bow to Him and bring Him gifts.

Joy to the world then and now,
The Lord has come to save us
From Satan’s power, from sin,
You are the Savior of the world.

Wonderful Counselor, King,
Everlasting Father, Lord,
Ancient of days, Savior,
Sovereign over everything.

How blessed and happy
I am to be Your child,
Given hope and new life,
Joy in heart that won’t die.

I will bless You, Lord,
For You alone are holy,
Righteous, living, true,
Right is all that You do.

Now is the time
To praise You,
In all circumstances,
In all situations.

At all times
You are worthy
To be praised,
To be glorified.

It is good to thank You
For all that You do,
It is pleasant to be
One of Your redeemed.

It is an honor
To be Your child,
Redeemed by Christ,
Given everlasting life.

Your name is higher
Than any other name,
There is no other God,
No one like You, Lord.

Your mercy endures forever,
Your love is like no other,
Your grace is a precious gift,
You are holy, You are perfect.

You seek the lost,
Call them to Yourself,
Bring them to repentance,
Give them new life.

You know their pain,
You know their scars,
You know their needs,
You know everything.

You care the most,
You know all the ways
That lead people astray,
You’re the only true Way.

For those lost and alone
You provide all they need.
For those without hope
You shine Your light daily.

You speak, calling the lost
To the foot of the Cross,
Calling them to surrender,
Calling them to Yourself.

Your love has taken hold,
You’ve changed my life,
You have saved me, Lord,
I am Yours forevermore.

I will call upon Your name
In the darkest of times
And I know You’ll hear me
And You’ll answer me, God.

You are my refuge,
You are my portion
In the land of the living,
You’re my God forever.

I fix my eyes upon You, Christ,
In You I put my trust and hope,
You are with me always, my God,
You won’t leave my soul destitute.

If I’m on the wrong way
Bring me back to Yours.
Lead me in the way everlasting,
Guide me every step, Master.

You’re the one who gave me
My life, everything that I have.
I will praise You, dear Father,
Lift Your high above all others.

You’re my Creator, Sustainer,
Provider, Redeemer, Savior,
Prince of Peace, Sovereign,
Heavenly Father, Emmanuel.

What joy is there in life
If You are not that joy?
What hope can we have
If You are not our hope?

You’re our only true hope,
You’re our only true joy,
You are the living and true God,
There is no other, never will be.

I will thank You for Your mercy
And praise You for Your grace
God, I will give You all the glory
For of it all You alone are worthy.

To give You glory,

How many spirits are lifted
And rejoice to praise You!

You children gather again
To testify that You’re active,
You love and take part
In their lives every day.

The faithful come
To adore the Savior,
To give Him due glory,
To worship the King.

Your gift to humans
Was what all needed,
A humble Savior and King,
A Lamb to take away sins.

You light the way
In the dark nights,
You guide our steps,
You lead the way.

The work of Your hands
Are made for Your glory,
Declaring Your majesty,
Pointing to You, Creator.

Your children as a Father,

You show mercy and grace.

To You who reigns forever,
To You, only worthy one.

Blessed are those
Who love and obey You,
Those who fear You,
Those who trust in You.

Teach me to fear You
As I should, dear Father.
Help me to learn lessons
You teach me every day.

You do what You will,
You do what You want,
You do what is right,
All Your ways are true.

Those who fear You
Will trust You, Lord.
You are their help,
You are their shield.

You are gracious,
You are merciful,
You are righteous,
You are womderful.

You bless those
Who fear You,
You deal right
With all of them.

May the nations
Praise You, Lord,
May the people
Glorify You, God.

I will walk before Your face
In the land of the living,
I will daily thank You, Lord,
For all that You’ve given me.

God, what can I bring
For all that You’ve done
For me in my life?
I will praise You forever.

I will offer You a sacrifice
Of praise that You deserve,
I will bring You my heart
And sincerely thank You.

You are for me,
I will not fear,
What can man do
To me when I’m Yours?

You are my strength and song,
I will glorify You all my life long,
You’ve become my salvation,
No other Savior in any nation.

You hear my prayers
And You answer them
According to Your love
And Your wisdom, Lord.

I will lift up Your name
Above all other names,
For You are good and true,
There is really none like You.

When I am afraid
I can call on You,
You are my strength,
You are my Deliverer.

My help comes from You
Who made heaven and earth,
I will turn to You every day
For You are my help and hope.

Today and forever
You alone are worthy
To be glorified by all,
Living and true God.

Sunday Praise (65) 12/1/19

Sunday Praise (65) 12/1/19. by me.

From the rising of the sun
To the setting of the same
May Your name be glorified,
Every day and forevermore.

You have no beginning
And You have no end,
From everlasting to everlasting
You are eternal, God.

You are Creator,
You are Sustainer,
You are Provider,
You are the Maker.

In many congregations
Your children gather
To thank You, to praise You
For everything that You do.

You are like no other,
Blessed heavenly Father,
In all my years I know not
Another like You anywhere.

You are holy and righteous,
Omniscient, Omnipotent,
Omnipresent, merciful,
Without rival, without equal.

As far as heaven is from earth,
So great is Your mercy toward us.
As far as the east is from the west
That far You’ve removed our transgressions.

How manifold are Your works,
You made everything wisely,
The Earth is full of Your works,
Creation praises You, Creator.

I’ll sing to You all my life,
I’ll praise You until I die
And resumr in eternity
Giving You glory forever.

To remember Your mercy,
To cherish Your love,
To daily give You praise,
Help me, heavenly Father.

Blessed be Your name,
Blessed be You, Lord,
For everything You do
I will praise You, God.

I thank You for Your mercy,
For Your miracles and wonders,
For Your care and providence,

You send the clouds,
You bring the rain,
You feed the earth,
You nourish the ground.

You pick up the pieces,
You restore my heart
To harmony with You,
You call me Your own.

You saved me from Hell,
Christ took upon Himself
The punishment I deserve,
You saved my soul, Lord.

You gave me new life,
Gave me a new heart,
My future is in Your hands,
I am Your child, Father.

You’ve given me
The gift of life
To love and serve
You now and forever.

Christ died for sinners,
Christ died for me,
I am redeemed now
By His precious blood.

You washed away
My sins and made me
Whiter than the snow
By the blood of Christ.

I will not be silent,
I will praise You daily,
You deserve the praise,
You deserve all glory.

I will submit to Your will,
Creator, I am Your creation,
I am Your child because
I’m saved by grace through faith.

At the Cross I will place my heart
Like a rose to You, an offering,
All that I have is from You,
You are all that I need, God.

At the Cross is my honor
And all my praise is there,
You are my Savior, Christ,
You are my true joy, Lord.

Weekdays are busy,
The workweek is hard,
You give me the strength
I need to get through it.

I need You every hour,
I need You every minute,
I need You every moment.

I bless You, Father in Heaven,
You deserve all the glory,
Thank You for everything,
Blessed be Your name forever.

I will love and obey You.

You’ve made this new day,
I will rejoice in it,

What came from Your hand.

I know You are holy,
Righteous and merciful,
You’re just and forgiving,
Kind and longsuffering.

There is none like You,
You are living and true,
Your love is the proof
That You alone are God.

I thank You for every breath
You’ve given me, Creator,

Every moment my Sustainer.

I can sing of Your grace
Until I have no voice left,
Then my heart will continue
Praising You for everything.

You are Sovereign King,
Ruler over everything,
Nothing escapes Your notice,
Nothing takes You by surprise.

You know the end
From the beginning,
From everlasting to everlasting

You are a soul’s joy,
The only salvation, Lord.

I will thank You today
And every day for Your love,
You humble me, Father,
Blessed be Your holy name.

It’s good to praise You,
To give You thanks
For all that You give,
For all that You are.

I enter Your presence
With thanks and praise
For You are worthy, Lord,
Of the best I can give You.

Now is the time to worship
You who has done so much,
My heart rejoices in You,
I will sing and dance for You.

Blessed be You
For You are holy,
Righteous and true,
Forever You are God.

When peace like a river
Attends my soul again,
I lift up my words of praise,
They rise to You, Father.

Your grace is amazing,
It keeps me humble,
You show me the truth,
I’m Yours forever, God.

I come to You to give You
The glory that You deserve,
You are wonderful, Almighty,
You are without rival or equal.

For love, for mercy, for salvation,
I thank You now, eternal God,
You amaze me, humble me,
You fill me with thanksgiving.

The Earth is full of Your mercy,
You provide, protect, illuminate,
You give what is really needed,
Creation praises You, Creator.

Change my heart, Potter,
It’s in Your loving hands,
I want to be like Christ,
I pray to grow in grace.

Sunday Praise (63) 11/17/19

Sunday Praise (63) 11/17/19. by me.

You alone are God,
There is not another,
You are living and true,
Right is everything You do.

Your mercy, O Lord,
Is new every morning,
Your grace is sufficient
For me, heavenly Father.

What is greater than
Praising You each day,
Walking in Your ways,
Always praying to You?

I will remember days gone by,
Think of the times now past,
I’ll count the blessings
You’ve bestowed on me.

All Your ways are right,
You are always true,
There’s no lie in You,
There is none like You.

You are my Father,
You’ve created me,
You sustain me,
You protect me.

You have protected me
Like the apple of Your eye,
Your love amazes me,
It humbles me, my God.

Help me to follow You,
To obey You out of love,
To remember Your deeds,
To praise You every day.

What joy You’ve given us, Savior,
Eternal life, salvation through Christ,
Your love shown through His death,
My heart is Yours forever, Lord.

You gave us a Comforter,
You gave us a living hope,
This is reason enough
To praise You every day.

If You are with me,
What shall I fear?
There are troubles in life,
There is joy in being with You.

I lift my soul to You,
I know You’re with me,
I praise Your holy name,
I lift You up, living God.

May Your truth and righteousness
Guide and protect me every day,
I know You are like no other,
It’s good for me to be with You.

My soul exalts You,
You clothe me in righteousness,
You are merciful to me,
I glorify You, God Almighty.

In Your presence mountains melt,
The Earth shakes and quakes,
You move nations and peoples,
You are Sovereign over all.

I will love and obey You,
Walk on this narrow road,
You are daily leading me,
You are my strength, Lord.

Lord, I know You are perfect,
There’s no imperfection in You,
You are holy and righteous,
You’re merciful and just, Creator.
