“Lord Jesus”
You know all my sins, most holy Lord,
You know my every evil and idle word,
I can’t earn my way to heaven, I know,
Without You I’d have a vain life’s flow.
You hate sin but You love us,
Jesus, You came to save us.
Praise be to You above all, forgiving God, forever.
Jesus, You’ve died for me, thank You, Redeemer.
You have died and risen from the grave,
Victory won and salvation You gave,
Yours be the honor, glory, power,
Glory to You my Savior, forever.
None are greater than You nor shall there ever be,
You alone are worthy of all honor, praise and glory,
Lamb of God, was slain and now You are alive, Lord,
Surely You’ll return, for You always keep Your word.

“Jesus Christ the Savior of Souls”
God Incarnate in human flesh. Son of God. Son of Man. Messiah, Holy One of Israel. Emmanuel.
“Divine suffering Savior, quicken, and regulate, and harmonize the moral powers of the soul.”
“We must understand the effects of the exhibition of Jesus Christ’s self-sacrificing love.”
You most meritorious
And the most glorious
Lord of all, Savior of souls,
For You the bell of joy tolls.
Rendered most worthy,
Showing us sympathy,
Knowing our weaknesses,
Strength only You possess.
No pity for You, Christ,
No aversion towards God,
Putting You in life first,
And giving You all laud.
Thank You my Master
For freeing me faster
Than I could hope to be
By efforts made by me.
O merciful, divine Benefactor,
You have made me a reactor
To Your words most potent,
You’ve quickened my spirit.
Purge out my ingratitude,
Replace it with gratitude,
Change my heart more each day
To conform to Your every way.
You are the object of all my hopes,
You’re the reason my heart copes
With the troubles and changes in life,
Overcoming all the failure and strife.
Your body was broken for me
For it was the way it had to be,
The way was open, the veil was rent,
For my sins You made an atonement.
“O my Divine Savior, You’ve suffered the rebuke, the scorn and the cross, as a sacrifice for my sins.”
I love You and can’t I keep silent about all You’ve done for me; I’ll testify while the world still spins.
How You affect the disposition of the soul
And how You shall at last make us whole,
It is a mystery and a great thing to experience,
Thank You for stating the need for repentance.
For the labor borne by You alone
And for the sins which You did atone,
Thank You above all, receive all praise and honor,
Saved so many from hell, glory Yours evermore.Note: lines in quotations are paraphrased or direct quotes from

“The Savior Bled, Died, Rose From the Dead”
Your eyes are set upon me as You hang on the cross, blood flowing down Your face,
I can see what love You have for me by this very act, I dare not refuse to bow in humility,
Crush my pride, my King, I want to sing a song of lamentation for Your death, but I know
You will rise from the dead, You’ve said You will and I trust You will keep Your word.
I behold the offering of the perfect sacrifice, a sweet-smelling savor unto God,
Appeasing His wrath, providing a way for reconciliation between man and Him.
You see my eyes start forming tears, You know I fear You will die but not rise,
It is a doubt that grips all who stand here to some extent. You see my whole heart,
You behold the very core of my being, You know how dependent I am on You, my Lord.
You hang there upon that cross for me, for everyone at its foot, we’re watching You bleed,
Suffering for every one of us, but not everyone will accept this as the only way
To be saved, by You alone, through Your name, to proclaim You as their Savior, Redeemer and Lord of their life,
Yes, sadly there are those who will cast You aside and look for another savior even if it’s themselves,
But I know that apart from You there is salvation in no other; by no other name can any of us be saved,
Jesus Christ, Son of God, the long-awaited Messiah that was rejected by many, but saved those who knew You.

“Crucified Messiah, the Savior To Be Glorified”
Branchless tree, hold the One who has last words to say
And watch wrath pour down upon that crucified Man.
No one else could endure what was in the divine plan,
For none could stay God’s righteous hand that dark day.
No one in the world could take Christ’s place, no one could face
All that He faced, He was born to die on the Cross for our sins.
The purpose was greater than any imagined – our sins to erase,
Such love none but God has, such a gift to who loses and wins.
The Lord’s blood dripped down, the sky began to mourn,
The multitude – some wept, others did mock and scorn.
A bleeding savior isn’t known for receving adulation
But on this day He’d open salvation to every nation.
Maybe your eyes will tear up today, maybe you’ll forget this tomorrow
Because you weren’t there, you just don’t know what kind of sorrow
Gripped those closest to the Son of God as He hung there on the Cross
But God knew that Jesus’ death was the greatest victory, gain, not loss.
Tell me, where do you find your comfort when your life begins to unravel?
Have you read carefully of the dangers on the road you’ve chosen to travel?
What’s your reason for continuing when it seems the whole world’s against you?
What do you do when your hearts falls, when hope dims, where do you turn to?
All the world’s comforts fail, temporal and insufficient when facing life’s realities.
Turn your eyes on Christ, hope in Him, trust, obey, He reigns over all actualities.
Believe in Him and on Him, He will lead you through the fires of life faithfully.
Place your life in His hands and He’ll show the way to a future truly heavenly.

“Christ Glorious”
Have no shame in proclaiming Jesus’ name,
No matter what the world may say,
Yesterday, today, forever He is the same,
Come and worship Him every day.
Our Redeemer for us has died,
By faith in Him we’re justified.
Name of our Savior be magnified.
Jesus Christ, forever be glorified!
Feet on solid ground and hands raised,
Hearts lifted up, our God be praised!
Oil and the Lamp, Spirit and the Word,
The mighty Living Word is the Sword.

“Allusion to the Divine Savior”
Come now bleed upon these cloths and make your mark as that hopeless lot,
A thrall defeated, a mass seated under incarnation’s eyes and that sun so hot.
Take your burdens and place them at those feet to be pierced tomorrow,
You may borrow from Him today but for this one you’ll pour your sorrow.
Come bleed your future at that corpse, under the end you deserve,
Take your selfish tone and surrender so you can henceforth serve.
When those loving eyes gaze upon you, elation will fill as never before,
You’ve beheld what prophets died for, touched the hands your sin tore.
Now what will keep your hope alive here, among the blind and the hateful hordes?
Where will trust rest when faith’s put to the test; will it survive the threat of swords?
You live to suffer, taste hell so your future won’t live there but your reward will be
Greater than you can imagine and this will all seem small then to us, to you, to me.

A Short Note About Jesus Christ the Son, the Holy Spirit and God the Father.
The life, death, and resurrection of Christ is the source of hope for humankind, for the Savior lives.
Salvation is found in no other name than in the name of Jesus Christ, the Son of Man, the Son of God.
Forgiveness is found in Him, saving and cleansing is done by Him, repenting is done by the sinner
Who has been convicted by the Holy Spirit to acknowledge their fallen state and make a decision
Whether to continue living as a slave to sin or become servant of God, forgiven, restored, reborn.

“Savior, We Praise You”

Jesus, it was like Your Word did tell:
Lord, Your soul want not left in hell,
Neither did Your flesh see decay.
All praise be to You, every day!

Hail, our Savior and King!
Only unto You we will sing,
You Whose ways are from everlasting,
Declaring the end from the beginning!

In You, Lord we have so long delighted;
It was only You who our hearts lighted!
From many troubles You have delivered us.
Our hope, our strength, our song, Lord Jesus!

Who is like You? There is none like You!
Forever worship You, it’s what we will do!

In Your name, dear Jesus Christ the Son
We declare that this war’s already won
For we are sanctified, we’re  saved by Your blood!
Lord, may our praise pour out daily like a flood!

Glory to God Alone.
