Sunday Praise (251) 6/25/23. by me.

We come here once again
To praise You, God Almighty,
You are our greatest gain,
Righteous, holy, kind, mighty.

You shine in our hearts,
Mend the broken parts,
You make us whole,
Rest for every soul.

We pray to You now,
Humbly to You bow,
Receive from Your hand
All we have until the end.

How dear You are to us,
The most precious, Jesus,
Our strength, Giver of life,
Give peace, remove strife.

God, we can’t tell enough
About Your love and grace,
Even when our life’s rough
You’re with us in every place.

You lead to repentance
By Your Spirit and Word.
We grow in dependence
On You, Savior and Lord.

Like the beast needs water
So we need You, Creator,
Hope’s flame burns hotter
As our faith grows greater.

Help us to daily trust
In You who’s our Savior,
We want to and must
Your love cherish, savor.

It was seen in the past,
Your wonders for many of us,
But what will surely last
Is what’s done for You, Jesus.

This freedom is wonderful
And You’re the source of it.
I praise You, my heart’s full,
I am filled with Your Spirit.

You are with me everywhere,
My help when there’s none
To be found at all elsewhere,
I pray that Your will be done.

You’ve given each a voice,
We are all called to rejoice
In You who is worthy of praise,
Hearts are filled, hands we raise.

You’re our strong Defender,
King, Friend, Healer, mender,
We gather in fellowship,
It’s You we will worship.

We do not have to fear
For we know You’re near,
You’re always with us,
Savior, Master, Jesus.

I can hear You calling
Your children to glorify You,
Old walls are falling,
Will not be like we used to.

When I sin against You
Nothing less can I do
But ask for forgiveness,
Wash away my filthiness.

Your mercy’s ever with me
And Your love is unfailing.
How great it is to really be
Your child, everlasting King.

“Lord of lords, Sovereign, without equal”

Lord of lords, Sovereign, without equal,
With angels before You we fall,
Absolute, holy, transcending all,
Authority is Yours, upon You we’ll call.

The One who made all things,
Creator distinct from creation
And the only King of all kings,
Sustainer, source of salvation.

Ruler worthy of glory,
Of honor and worship worthy,
All others are truly unworthy,
History is Your story.

Redeemer of people in every land,
Judge of all, righteous, true,
Of Your reign there will be no end,
All things are known to You.

God, You won’t cast us away,
You carry our heaviest load,
In a dark world show the way
Forward on the narrow road.

How great to know
Your love You show
To us every day
In many a way.

We can pray for happiness,
We can pray for peace,
We pray for Your presence
To fill us and not cease.

Comforter, Spirit of Truth,
You’ve given enough proof,
They’re all without excuse
Who still disbelief choose.

Almighty, may all glory be
Given to You, You’re worthy,
You’ll return and we’ll see
We shall no longer be filthy.

To know that You love us
Like no one else, o Jesus.
You’re the one we all need,
Our very souls You do feed.

I need not feel any shame
For trusting in Your name,
I know You can deliver me
From the strongest enemy.

To be forgiven, made new,
Even when we fail and stumble,
What a blessing only You
Can and do give to the humble.

How good it is to rejoice
In You, everlasting King.
I will use this given voice
To speak truth and sing.

At all times to bless You
And do what I should do,
This is my heart’s desire,
To lift my thoughts higher.

God, arise to help me,
No other help shall be
Comparable to Yours,
Trust like water pours.

How great is Your mercy,
All the redeemed do see
Your hand of providence,
It’s Your work’s evidence.

O help us all to do good,
To put our trust in You,
To feed on spiritual food,
To do what we should do.

All my dreams are known
To You, heavenly Father.
The way You have shown
We will walk on together.

Teach me to watch my words
Lest they cut often like swords,
May they all minister grace
At every time, in every place.

Help me to walk in Your ways,
To trust and obey You, Jesus.
I know You’re with me always,
To remain faithful and focus.

O Father, strengthen the faithful,
May our hearts be daily grateful
To You who gave us all we have,
You are the reason we can love.

“Slow Down and Breathe Now”

Slow down and breathe now,
Enjoy this present moment.
We spend too much of our time
Chasing what does not matter
But God gives us what we need.
We don’t need as much as we think,
We need to stop always wanting more.
Thank God for all that you have now.

There is no strength like Yours
And there’s no God but You,
Praise from hearts to You pours,
To glorify You we want to.

We need one another here
To challenge and encourage,
Your people are to You dear
In every place and every age.

I believe in You, o most Holy One,
Creator, Sustainer, Provider, o God,
Everywhere may Your will be done,
We’re united through Christ’s blood.

Guard me on the way and lead,
I know storms of life will not last,
Teach me Your words to heed,
Shed the deadweight of the past.

Help me to follow You, Master,
On the narrow road until death.
I need not want to leave faster,
I’ll serve You with every breath.

You are the source of peace
Whatever our circumstances be,
We can trust You and release
Our hold on our life, wonders see.

When You hear our prayers
We know there are answers
Even if they are not immediate,
What You’ll give, we’ll receive it.

No enemy can hide from You,
You do whatever You want to,
No one’s greater than You, Lord,
Living and active is Your Word.

If it feels like You’re not listening
I know not to trust every feeling
But to trust You, Your promises,
To reject the lies of my nemesis.

You are the Good Shepherd,
You are leading and protecting,
You’re mending and correcting,
My prayers are not unheard.

The earth is Yours, Almighty,
Everything in it belongs to You,
Sovereign, strong and mighty,
No one can do what You can do.

God, to You I lift up my soul,
Only You do make me whole.
Heart of flesh instead of stone,
I am Yours forever, never alone.

God, You know my heart,
See every damaged part,
Purge out filth and shame
By the power of Your name.

You are my light in the dark
And my source of salvation.
You’re the Truth most stark,
The hope of every nation.

I’ve found hope nowhere else,
The counterfeits, saviors false
Burn to ashes, turn to dust,
In the fakes I will not trust.

Praise be to You, Holy One,
Greatest victory You’ve won,
Honor is due to You, Jesus,
From sin You have saved us.

O Lord, bring sinners to repentance,
Let them see their perilous state,
Show them necessity of acceptance
Of Your truth before it is too late.
