Sunday Praise (121) 12/27/20

Sunday Praise (121) 12/27/20. by me.

We still praise our holy God,
Hearts and mouths give laud
To the one worthy of all glory,
The most loving, just, and holy.

O little town of Bethlehem,
Christ was born and you slept,
The Word became flesh and dwelt
With us, He came to us from our sins.

What Child is this in a manger
Called the Messiah, the King
And later is kept from danger
By God His Father? Sing, sing.

O come now, all you faithful,
Sing praises to the Lord,
Prince of Peace, wonderful;
Let us all adore Christ.

Christmas day full of joy,
A wonderful day indeed,
Our living hope is here,
Christ is born, hallelujah.

Joy to the world,
The Lord has come,
Hearts receive Him,
The King welcome.

Shepherds came to see
And praise the newborn King
Wrapped in swaddling clothes
In a manger, it was God Incarnate.

A silent night, a holy night,
Christ the Savior is born
To live a sinless life on earth
And die on the Cross for sinners.

Let the redeemed tell all
That Jesus Christ is born,
Hope has come for everyone,
Christ alone is the Savior.

I rejoice that You heard me,
My voice and my prayers,
You answered every one
According to Your will and love.

You are gracious and righteous,
You are merciful, Holy One,
You keep safe the simple,
Their souls rest in You, Jesus.

Is every person a liar now?
Where have the righteous gone?
Are we surrounded by deceit
Unable to find truth down here?

God, You are true and You are truth,
All lies burn up in Your presence,
All falsehoods are exposed by Your light,
Nothing can be hidden from You.

May all nations praise You
For You alone are worthy, Lord.
May all tribes exalt You,
You are the true and living Word.

Great is Your mercy towards us
And amazing is Your grace.
King, Your truth endures forever,
We will worship You always, amen!

Lord, I know You are good,
Your mercy endures forever,
You are always with me,
What then shall I fear?

In the dwelling of the saved
Is rejoicing in Your name
For You are the Redeemer,
Jesus, You alone are Savior.

Blessed indeed are the people
Who walk in Your holy ways
And daily seek Your face,
They are Yours now and forever.

In all of my ways may I learn
To acknowledge You, Lord,
Help me more and more yearn
Your face, Your truth, and You.

In the worst times
I prayed to You,
You have heard me
And You’ve answered.

Though I am for peace
My enemies are for war.
You are with me, Jesus,
I am Yours now and forever.

My help comes from You,
You made everything I see
And everything I don’t,
Blessed are You, Creator.

You protect me from the worst
And You always know what’s best.
Jesus, I won’t perish in my sins,
You’ve redeemed me by Your blood.

It’s good to enter Your house
With Your children, Father,
To praise You in song and prayer,
To give You what You deserve.

Peace be upon Your people,
The ones You bless, Master,
They trust You and obey,
They walk in Your ways.

I lift up my eyes to You,
You are my Lord and Savior,
There is no one like You,
Holy, holy, holy are You, Lord!

You have mercy on us
Because of Christ Jesus,
O how great is Your love!
Nothing compares to it.

If I didn’t have You in my life
I would be dead long ago,
A hopeless soul here alone,
But no, You saved me, Lord.

You saved me from my sins,
You saved me from damnation,
Lord, You saved me from Hell,
You are my hope and victory.

Those who trust in You
Shall not be moved, Father,
You are their hope and shield,
Their song and victory, Lord.

The good and upright in heart
Are so because of You, Jesus,
Our righteousness is imputed,
You are our Savior and salvation.

Sunday Praise (120) 12/20/20

Sunday Praise (120) 12/20/20. by me.

We are alive, that’s a gift
From Your hand of grace,
You’re most loving of all,
Upon You we’ll daily call.

It was a silent night, a holy night,
When into the world came the Light
To expose the works of darkness,
To find the lost and save them.

Come, bright hope of Israel,
O come, come, Emmanuel.
You, long-expected Messiah,
We sing to You hallelujah.

Christmas day has come
With praise we welcome
The King of kings again
Into our homes and hearts.

Lord, what can we give You
That You’ve not first given us?
It all comes from Your hand,
We receive it and thank You.

May those who stray in darkness
Come to see Your marvellous light
And come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ,
Be saved by You who quenches soul’s thirst.

Nothing is of more worth to me
Than You, my Savior, my God,
No one’s closest, no one’s dearer,
You’re my treasure, joy, and life.

Workweek takes its toll,
Tired body needs rest,
I can find it here
In Your presence.

My soul will bless You,
You are my Lord and God,
How great and wonderful,
Clothed in glory like no other.

The things You’ve created
Move and have their being
Because You’ve allowed it,
You are living and true, God.

I’ll praise You, call on You,
I’ll lift up Your holy name
Above all other names
For You alone are worthy.

You’ve done for Your people
So many wonderful things,
Your hand of providence
Is visible in every life, Lord.

Father, You are so good,
There’s no one like You,
Your love is like no other,
There’s nothing better than it.

You save us from damnation,
You bring us before Your throne,
We bow down and worship You
For You alone are worthy, Lord.

Redeemer, You’ve delivered us
From the enemy of our souls,
You have adopted us into Your family,
We’re now Your children, most blessed.

We’ll bring You offerings of praise,
We offer sacrifices of thanksgiving,
For You have done many wonders,
You’ve done more than anyone else.

My heart is ready to praise You,
I will rise up and come to You,
I thank You for this life You gave,
You saved me and my sins forgave.

Abba, help us when trouble is near
And there is none but You who sees
Our pain, our struggles, our fears,
You are our hope now and always.

In our struggles You’re with us,
You protect and You strengthen,
We can always trust You, Father,
You never fail, You always prevail.

Do with me as You desire
For the sake of Your name,
Your mercy is good, Lord,
You are good to all, God.

You overcome all enemies,
None can stand against You
In the day of Your wrath, Lord,
You prevail against all, Master.

How wonderful are Your deeds
To all who trust in You, Lord.
They see what You’ve already done
And they know You’ll do much more.

I will praise You in the congregation
For Your holiness, kindness, mercy,
There is so much I can praise You for,
Help me thank You more, dear Lord.

To fear You, God Almighty,
Is the beginning of wisdom,
A blessed state indeed it is
To be Your child, Abba, Father.

Blessed are they who love You
And obey You, who trust in You,
They will thrive for they are Yours,
They have everlasting life in Christ.

I will put my trust in You, Lord,
I will seek Your face, Savior,
Walking on this narrow road
‘Til You call me Home to You.

For all that You have done
Blessed be Your holy name
From the rising of the sun
To the setting of the same.

There is no one like You,
No other Sovereign Ruler,
Nothing is impossible for You,
You are living and true, God.

I know of no other Savior,
There is only one – You, Jesus,
Blessed be You now and forever
For You are worthy, only You.

Oh, all of creation stirs
When You whisper, Lord,
Nothing can rebel and win
Against You, God Almighty.

Sunday Praise (119) 12/13/20

Sunday Praise (119) 12/13/20. by me.

It’s a season of celebration
Of Your great incarnation,
A time to thank You, Lord,
Jesus, You are the Word.

In the town of Bethlehem
You took upon human flesh,
Almighty One, God Incarnate,
Blessed are You forevermore.

I want to be with You
Every day and hour,
Lead me into eternity
Of joy in Your presence.

I thank You, Holy One,
For what You’ve done,
You have found me
And my life changed.

You are clothed in greatness,
You rule with righteousness,
Your throne firmly remains
For You are King forever.

You are mighty in the highest,
Your revelations are all true,
The holy will abide in Your house
For they love You above all.

How foolish are the people
Who walk as blind ones
Rebelling against Your ways?
They are in peril of perishing.

Lord, blessed is the person
To whom You have revealed
Your righteous ways and will,
Your wise and joyful deeds.

We’ll come and sing to You,
Foundation of our salvation,
In every continent and nation
There is only one Savior – You!

We’ll enter Your presence,
We’ll bow down and worship
You who is forever Sovereign,
King of kings and Lord of lords.

Help us sing a new song
To You all season long,
All of us are weak
But You are strong.

We give You glory and honor
For You alone are worthy, Lord,
You deserve the best we can give,
It all comes from Your gracious hand.

May the whole earth rejoice
And everyone raise their voice
In thanksgiving and praise
To You, everlasting Savior.

May they all be ashamed
Who serve idols and false gods
For they follow lies of the devil,
Counterfeits that can’t save.

You’ve worked many wonders
So many miracles undeniable,
Your hand’s brought You victory
Over every enemy, God Almighty.

We will rejoice before Your face
For You are coming to judge
The whole world in righteousness,
None can fool or bribe You, Judge.

May all the nations tremble
Before You, Sovereign Ruler,
May all bow down and confess
Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior.

Oh, holy is Your name, Jesus!
I know only You can save us,
I will lift up Your name high
Above all other names, hallelujah!

Help us lift up our voices
In praise of Your holy name,
There is an endless river
Of praise that flows to You.

Creator, You have created us,
We are Your redeemed children,
You’ve ransomed us from the enemy,
We are the sheep of Your pasture.

Help me daily, dear Father,
To keep worthless things away
From my eyes and from my heart,
To fix my eyes on You, Jesus.

Help me to resist temptation,
To fight against falsehoods,
To oppose all lies, and to discern
Between what is right and wrong.

Hear my prayer and let my cry
Come before Your ears, Lord,
Answer according to Your love
And Your infinite wisdom, God.

We will remember Your mercy
And Your many great deeds,
There’s so much to thank You for,
Help us thank You more and more.

My soul will bless You, Lord,
And all that is within me
Will bless Your holy name,
I won’t forget Your blessings.

As far as the east is from the west
So far, Jesus, have You removed
My many transgressions from me,
Forever I will glorify You for it all!

Dark days come upon us all
But You are the Light of the world,
No matter what happens to us,
You won’t leave, won’t forsake us.

Sunday Praise (118) 12/6/20

Sunday Praise (118) 12/6/20. by me.

How great You are, o Lord,
Pure and true is Your Word,
I want to praise You more and more
For You alone are worthy, Savior.

You don’t just love,
You are love, holy God,
You see us and care
For each one of us.

What can wash away
All my sins and shame?
Nothing but Your blood,
Son of Man, Son of God.

I’ll bow my knees and pray
In Your presence, Father,
I hear Your loving voice
I know You are with me.

You’ve been my strength and joy
For as long as I have lived,
To You alone my soul I yield
For You alone are worthy, Lord.

Abba, Your invisible hands
Have been at work in my life
Even when I didn’t know it,
Your providence is undeniable.

How great was Your sacrifice
To purchase my ransom!
How great was Your love
Even when I was still unsaved.

You stand above all others
High and lifted up, Almighty,
You are Sovereign over all,
There is no one like You.

Rise and judge the world,
Righteous and just God,
You will have Your way
Now and always, Master.

How foolish are the people
Who choose to stand against You,
Who rebel against Your rule,
They’ll perish if they don’t repent.

May more people realize
You’re the everlasting King,
You will overcome all enemies,
You are greater than all, Lord.

My soul longs for You,
Living God, I need You,
No one else will do, it’s true,
There’s really no one like You.

You are my sun and shield,
My shelter in life’s storms,
I’m safest when You’re nearest,
There’s nowhere else I’d rather be.

How great is Your mercy
Towards me, dear Father,
It humbles me every day,
I realize how amazing it is!

How near is Your salvation
To those who fear You,
Your grace saves the worst,
You can change any life.

Lord, You rejoice my soul,
You are my joy, Father,
I find my meaning in You,
You are my purpose, God.

On Your narrow road I find
The wisest way to live here,
Lord, Your ways are the best,
Teach me to obey You better.

In Your house we gather
To fellowship together,
To lift up Your name,
To glorify You, Father.

Lord, Your work of salvation
Is a miracle, a supernatural act,
You change heart and life,
The old dies, the new is born.

Hear my prayers and answer
Every single one of them
According to Your great love,
Your will and Your wisdom.

Don’t hide Your face
For trouble is so near
And there’s none to help,
Only You can now, Lord.

I won’t be quiet about You,
So many are Your deeds,
So great is Your goodness,
So amazing is Your grace!

God, Your mercy is with me,
I rest in Your holy presence,
I find all that I need in You,
I will live and die for You.

Lord, You are my refuge,
I can always turn to You
For I know You won’t reject,
You won’t leave me, Father.

Teach me, please, Holy Spirit,
How to live each day correctly
To obtain a heart of wisdom,
To daily bring You glory, Lord.

How easily we can all make
Excuses for our wasted time,
Forgoing the essential,
Grasping at the trivial.

Conforming to a loveless world,
We’re growing colder by the day,
Every step away from the Lord
Is a step closer to the grave.

Careless steps on aimless roads,
Fading moments of passing days,
Brevity of life’s a constant reminder
Eternity is a breath away for all of us.

Foolish words and foolish deeds
Stain the pages of our lives here
And only forgiveness can clear
The burden of guilt and sin’s stains.

Blessed is the one who hides
Under the shadow of Your wings,
What have they to fear when
They are with You, King of kings?!

You keep Your children close,
You answer all our prayers,
You know what’s best for all of us,
Glory to You, Savior, Lord, Jesus.

You’re love, You’re life’s meaning,
Everything else surely fails
To compare to You, Father,
You’re the living and true God.

Cold beauty, colored autumn,
Give a cold kiss before you go,
We’ll embrace as you pass by
For soon you’ll say goodbye.

Are you the blood of inspiration
That’s gone cold in my veins?
Am I a shadow lingering here
Until the sun comes and I go?

It is good to praise You,
To give You glory, Lord,
You alone are worthy
Of all the glory and honor.

We bloom in Your house,
We can taste and see
You are good, Abba, Father,
Now and always, blessed be You.
