Sunday Praise (24) 2/17/19. by me.

A week has come and gone,
Now it’s all in the past,
Only memories of those days
Will remain, but some won’t.

I have seen Your works again
Displayed for all to see, God,
There’s no excuse for unbelief,
You are real, living and true!

I’ve seen Your mighty deeds
Not just in my own life
But in many others’ lives,
You’re loving and living and active.

I can’t deny what You’ve done
For me and for countless others,
I can’t keep my mouth shut,
I won’t be silent, I’ll praise You!

I’ve taken things for granted,
On some days I didn’t even pray
But You’ve always been with me,
Emmanuel, You’re God with us all!

My heart is filled once again
With words of praise to You,
I will declare Your works, O Lord,
It’s too important to not do.

Worthy of all the glory,
You are deserving of it all,
The best of all I can give
I will give You, God Almighty!

I am not ignorant, Father,
Of Your activity in this world,
This isn’t chance at work,
It’s not coincidence, it’s You.

You’re never too far from us, Lord,
You’re never as cold as we can be,
You’re more loving than anyone else,
You’re worthy of honor, love, obedience.

Help me in this journey of life,
On this narrow road You put me on,
I can’t make it on my own, alone,
I need You everywhere I go, Lord.

Teach me to seek Your face
Early in the morning, Lord,
To seek You every new day,
Help me find You every day.

I’m not as devoted as I can be
To You, Master, Savior, Friend,
My God, I need strength and guidance,
I need You everywhere, every moment.

Give me what I need to stand
Against my enemy’s attacks,
He and his army are warring
Against Your children every day.

We’re soldiers in Christ’s army,
He’s leading us, giving orders,
He’s fighting, He won the war,
But there are still battles to fight.

God, I need You to help me now
And every time I am attacked
By the Devil, his servants, temptation,
Be my strength, my victory, always.

You’re the Vine and I’m a branch,
Help me to abide in You, Lord,
I can’t bear fruit without You,
You sustain me, You give me life.

I’m nothing without You,
I’m nothing without love,
I’ve nothing without You,
God, You’re my everything.

Holy are You, O God,
Now and forever You reign,
Righteous and just are Your ways,
Mighty and wonderful are You above all.

Daily fill my heart with praise,
To give a worthy offering to You,
Teach me to seek You always,
You are mine and I am Yours.

How wonderful is Your mercy,
How amazing is Your grace,
How incomparable is Your love,
How holy and righteous You are, God!

I will thank You for what You do,
I will praise You for who You are,
I will bless You, most holy One,
Sovereign King, forever You reign!
